Our Plans

The Allegheny Musarium™ Association has successfully completed Phase 1 of its plan for bringing a high tech combination Museum⁄Aquarium to Warren County. Phase 1 accomplishments included: receiving their 501c (3) tax exempt status, which allows donations that are made to be income tax deductible; creating community awareness and support for the Musarium; local fund raising events and campaigns to generate funds for operating expenses; and most importantly, securing a "home" for the Musarium, which was capped off with the erection of their sign on the property, "Future home of the Allegheny Musarium".

Phase 2 will begin immediately, and will include raising $500,000 from local "stakeholders" to be used for an independent feasibility study, contracting with a professional fund raising firm to solicit donations nationally, and contracting for the design of the Musarium and its exciting interior. "Stakeholders" are businesses, organizations, and individuals that will realize a significant financial gain from having a huge number of tourists visit the area.

During this phase, we will also be working with developers to bring other attractions and venues to the Route 6 West corridor that will insure that the area becomes a year-round tourist destination. Possibilities would be: an indoor water park, IMAX theatre, specialty or outlet mall, planetarium, hotels, and restaurants.

"Share the Vision, help us make it a Reality"!
